Background

About Me

I’m Chinh Tong, a Business Analytics and Sport Business student at Drexel University with a strong interest in basketball operations, scouting, and data-driven decision making. My experience sits at the intersection of analytics and the day-to-day work that keeps a team running, which has shaped how I approach the game.

Operations Volunteer

Alongside my team experiences, I’ve been building my own analytics and scouting tools, including player evaluation models and transfer portal tracking systems. I’m especially interested in how data can be used to project player development, evaluate fit, and support more efficient roster-building strategies.

I’m looking to continue growing in a basketball environment where I can contribute to both the analytical and operational sides of a team. Long term, my goal is to work in scouting or a front office role, where I can combine film, data, and context to help build winning teams.
